Jean E. Bryer is a portrait artist who resides in Northern Virginia with her husband, their dog (Freddy), and two cats (Sendak and Hobbs ). An Illustration graduate of Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia, Jean is also an experienced Corporate Graphic Designer and Illustrator.
Due to customer demand, Jean has expanded her business to include people portraits. While Jean specializes in drawing children under 12 years old, she also draws people of all ages and strives to capture the child within.
Jean requests that you send 6-10 photographs (copies – no originals, please!) Jean's Portraits are in black and white, though sometimes she adds a touch of color. Her portraits come unframed and can easily be shipped to customers outside the Northern Virginia area. Local customers are welcome to meet the artist to pick up their completed portrait in person.
Portrait sizes begin at 8” X 10”, with 11” X 14” being the most popular. Custom sizes are also available.
